THE SELF-LOVE CLUB

ree

What a beautiful time to be alive and to experience life at it’s fullest one must practice self-love. I personally have been trying it for myself and I would encourage everyone to do the same.

What is self-love?

Self-love is accepting yourself as you are in this very moment for being everything that you are.

Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth.

How do I know if I lack self-love?

Low self-esteem can make it more difficult to achieve your goals and form healthy, supportive relationships.

Few common signs that indicate lack of self-love

  • Chaotic Relationships

  • Eating Disorders

  • Lack of self esteem

  • Negative Self-talk

  • Fear of failure

  • Lack of boundaries

How to practice self-love?

  1. Make peace with your insecurities.

  2. Accept that perfection doesn't exist and accept all your flaws as a natural thing.

  3. Be open to self explanation.

  4. Growth comes with patience and positive approach.

  5. Engage into hobbies and passion that give you happiness.

Highest form of self-love?

Taking Action is the Highest Form of Self Love. Discipline and sincerity towards oneself and practice of putting off a momentary pleasure for a more rewarding future showcases the highest form of self-love for your present and future self.

Why is self-love so important?

Self-love builds your emotional resilience and prepares you for challenges. Emotional turmoils can usually cause stress. Making Mental health a priority in your life can help you nourish your mind.

Well it's better said than done but baby steps always make a difference. An exercise I have been doing everyday is to find one reason to be grateful for the day and it surely has helped me on my journey of self-love.

Please do leave comments about your journey, I can’t wait to hear your stories. Feel free to reach out to me, I would love to help you in any way I can.
